• About High School

Breckenridge High School currently has a traditional 7 period day.  Each class runs for approximately 52 minutes.  We offer a full academic schedule which is in line with the Mandated State Curriculum.

Academic programs include courses in fine arts, business, core academic areas, agriculture and technical areas.  Students elect to follow a curriculum that fits into the scope of their selected career pathway.  Courses may be general in nature or include advanced classes in English, Science and Math.  Accelerated programs such as dual enrollment and on-line interactive courses are available to students.  Two area vocational centers also provide students with access to over twenty technical programs.

Students with special education needs receive assistance within the mainstream of the high school setting.  School-to-work programs also offer student's opportunities to gain valuable experience through co-op related job and volunteer community service activities.
