Here are the winners of our pumpkin contest. We had over a 100 entries this year and this contest was hard to judge. Everyone did an excellent job! Congratulations to our winners Regan Dosson, Raygan Herrington, Kiptyn Graham, Emberlyn Coyle, Brentley Graham, Lauren Bartlett, Patrick Walker, Dawson Kostal and Elizabeth Sanders. We hope everyone enjoyed doing this contest and we can't wait until next year.

Reminder parents that tomorrow October 31st is a half day and we dismiss at 11:20 at the elementary. Our Halloween parade begins at 10:00 for Preschool and 10:30 for K-5th Grade. Costumes should be school appropriate and safe for all. Parents may line up in the gym. If you are here and have a pumpkin please take it home with you then and any other pumpkins will need to be picked up by noon.
Also, tomorrow October 31st Breckenridge's Trick or Treat hours are from 6:00 to 8:00pm.

Mrs. Wolfgang's middle school class is diving into the fascinating properties of water and matter with an exciting penny drop lab! Students are discovering surface tension and the unique characteristics of matter as they experiment with how many drops fit on a penny. Learning has never been so much fun! Mrs. Marr and Mrs. Willman took our students on an unforgettable field trip to Lansing! They explored the wonders of the universe at the planetarium and watched a thrilling show that busted myths about UFOs and the moon landing hoax. Breckenridge Athletics Weekly Update (10/20 - 10/26) ๐พ
This week was full of excitement as we celebrated Fall Sports Senior Night! Thank you to all our seniors for your dedication, hard work, and love for Breckenridge High School Athletics. Weโve watched you grow and excel over these four years, and itโs been an honor to share the journey with you. We also want to thank the families for their unwavering support! With fall sports wrapping up, the Cross Country State Finals and Volleyball Districts are just around the corner. Letโs get out there and show our Huskies some love! ๐๐

Our Cross Country teams shined at regionals, with the Girls' Team taking home the Regional Championship title and the Boys finishing strong in 4th place! Huge congratulations to Anthony Rowe for qualifying for States as an individual! The girls' team and Anthony will represent us at the MHSAA State Finals on November 2ndโwe canโt wait to see what they accomplish next. Here are our medalists from Regionals:

๐ Varsity Football: Fighting Hard on Senior Night!
Our football team gave it their all on Senior Night, taking on a tough Onekama squad (7-1) and playing with grit in a hard-fought 30-12 loss. Though the season closes at 3-6, this team has shown tremendous growth, and the future looks bright for our returning players. Keep that energy going into the offseason! Here are this weekโs top performances:
Gavin Corbat: 15/27 passing for 253 yards, 2 TDs; 14 tackles, 1 TFL
Zander Mapes: 4 rushes for 81 yards, 1 TD
Trey Most: 4 receptions for 71 yards, 11 tackles
Maddax McCaw: 13 carries for 43 yards; 2 receptions for 30 yards; 6 tackles, 2 INTs
Noah Barr: 5 receptions for 71 yards, 1 TD
Braxton Clapp: 15 tackles, 3 TFL, 1 sack

๐ช JV Football: Closing with Resilience
Our JV team wrapped up their season at home on Wednesday in a challenging game. This team has faced a lot of adversity but never backed down. Their commitment and spirit throughout the season are an inspiration. Keep grinding, boysโthe future is bright!

Our cheerleaders ended the season with an incredible final performance, igniting energy on the sidelines! This group has been cheering their hearts out all fall, and now theyโre preparing for the competitive season. Weโre excited to see what they bring this winterโGo Huskies Cheer! ๐ฃ๐๐
๐ Varsity Volleyball: Senior Night Victory and MSAC Runners-Up!
Our volleyball team celebrated Senior Night on Tuesday with a big win over Ashley, taking three straight sets (25-13, 25-14, 25-11)! Shout-out to these top performers:
Liz McCaw: 11 kills
Emma Tinson: 5 kills, 4 aces
Bonnie Colthorp: 6 kills
BayLeigh Clapp: 9 digs
Blair Davenport: 18 assists
The girls also competed in the MSAC Tournament this weekend, taking 2nd place. They swept Fulton in two sets (25-14, 25-18) before coming up short in the championship against Sacred Heart. Great job, Huskiesโletโs keep this momentum going into Districts!
