In Spanish, our students enjoyed a hands-on experience making flour tortillas and savoring delicious "tacos de tinga." Along with the culinary fun, they delved into the history of Latin American Independence and how the American Revolution inspired nations to break free from Spanish rule. In Mrs. Shaw's 10th grade English class, students are diving into *The Great Gatsby* by creating detailed timelines using textual evidence! They're exploring key events in Gatsby's life and unraveling the rumors swirling around him. Through Nickโs unique perspective, the class is analyzing Gatsby's mysterious persona and questioning how much truth lies in his extravagant reputation.

What a day for our volleyball team! ๐ The Huskies dominated the Michigan Lutheran Seminary Tournament, going undefeated and bringing home the championship! So proud of this group for their incredible effort! Letโs keep the momentum rollingโGo Huskies! ๐๐

Itโs been a busy two days for the Huskies! The volleyball team competed at Midland Bullock Creek, securing a win against Midland Calvary Baptist (25-20, 25-15) but falling short to Bullock Creek in a hard-fought match (10-25, 25-23, 13-15). Top performers included Liz with 15 kills, Maddie Breece with 11 kills, BayLeigh with 29 digs, and Blair with 23 assists and 12 digs.
Meanwhile, the football team traveled to Merrill and played a nail-biter, ultimately losing in the final minute, 30-26. Our cheerleaders and fans were incredible, bringing energy and support throughout the game. Great effort by all our athletesโGo Huskies!
