Daily Announcements for 04/12/2022 *Happy birthday to Katie Steinhaus! *For tomorrow, Seniors will need to report to the HS gym by 8:00am. You will all be leaving at 8:30am for the cemetery. You will not need to bring anything. All students must attend. If you are in spring sports, attendance will count. If you are not there, you will not play. *After school tutoring will be in the media center on Thursdays from 3:00-4:00pm. *Prom tickets will be sold during lunch until April 14th. Tickets will be sold for $30 each, which includes dinner. Prom will be held at the Alma Elks Club on April 30th. Please see Mrs. Marr or Ms. Roe for tickets. *NHS will be hosting the induction ceremony tonight at 7:00pm. *SAT and PSAT testing for 8th-11th grade students will be held on April 13 and 14th. Juniors will be testing on Monday, April 18th as well. NO cell phones will be allowed in the testing rooms. Please make sure you have calculators ahead of time for testing. *MS students will be heading to Grand Rapids to the museum for a field trip on Thursday. The students MUST be on time to go on the field trip or the student will be sent home due to testing being done in the building. *Wednesday will be a half day for teacher professional development. We will not have school on Friday in observance of Good Friday. *There will be no Alma vocational on Wednesday. *There will be no Mt. Pleasant vocational on Thursday due to testing. *Alma vocational will be hosting PTC on Wednesday, April 20th from 4:00-7:00pm. *The 8th Grade Spring Social is scheduled for Friday, May 6th from 7:00pm-9:00pm at the HS cafeteria. Students will need to be in attendance for the ENTIRE day on May 6th in order to attend the spring Social. This is a semi-formal event, skirts or dresses for girls and dress pants and ties for boys. The basement of Anschutz has been reserved for dinner. Students may start arriving at Anschutz starting at 5:00pm. Group pictures will follow dinner at about 6:15pm. Hello Huskie Friends and Family, The student council is going to be holding a benefit auction on April 21st in the high school gym. All money raised will go and support the family of Kenzie Gulick. The public is welcome to attend the auction. If you plan on attending the auction you will need to sign in at the high school office.
