At 12:50 PM today, June 4, 2025, a smoke duct detector located in the high school gym triggered the fire alarm. Thankfully, there was no fire or emergency, but we want to take a moment to recognize and commend our entire school community.
Students and staff responded quickly, calmly, and with intention—exactly as our safety protocols are designed. Your focus and cooperation ensured a smooth evacuation and allowed for a timely return to learning.
Thank you all for your continued commitment to keeping our school safe.

In Breckenridge Elementary is where we have recess aides
On the blacktop is where they spend most of their days
Chillin' out, maxin', relaxin' all cool
Keepin' the peace at recess and enforcing the rules
When a couple of kids, who were up to some fun
Started shootin’ some hoops and makin' a run
They gave one little glance, and the aides got there
They said, “Let’s keep it safe—NO tag over there”
They blew their whistle, and when they came near
The whole playground paused like “Hey, they’re here!”
If anything, we could say that these aides are rare
Keepin’ things cool with style and flair!
So here’s to our aides—let’s give them a cheer!
They keep recess fun and full of good cheer,
Recess ladies, we’re SO glad you're here!
Whether it’s mysterious sticky substances that defy science, a code brown in one of our wings😂 boogers, or the struggle against the rogue paper towel avalanche in the bathroom — they show up, clean up, and somehow do it all with a smile. 😎

What a blast we had at our Preschool Dance Party! The room was full of smiles, laughter, and LOTS of dancing feet. From twirling preschoolers to epic freeze dance moments, our little stars lit up the dance floor with their energy and joy. After weeks of planning, building, and a lot of egg-citement, our Egg Drop Competition is officially wrapped up!
Students tested their physics skills by designing creative contraptions to protect their eggs from a high-flying fall off the football bleachers 🏈⬇️ Using concepts like momentum, impulse, and air resistance, they proved that science can be both smart and messy!

Thank you so much to all the parents who have already signed up for Final Forms! As this program is new to us, we are still working out some kinks. Primarily that students aren't receiving their confirmation emails to sign their forms! We are working with our IT team on this - please continue filling out the forms as completely as you can and when we have an update, we will send out further communication.
