๐Ÿšจ Protecting Our Kids Starts with Awareness ๐Ÿšจ

Child exploitation is a serious issue and together, we can help prevent it. As parents and caregivers, staying informed and having open conversations with our children is one of the best ways to keep them safe online and in the community.

๐Ÿ‘€ What You Can Do:

-Talk regularly with your child about safe and respectful online behavior.

-Be aware of the apps, games, and platforms they use.

-Watch for warning signs like secrecy about online activity or sudden changes in behavior.

-Report suspicious activity to local law enforcement or through the CyberTipline (1-800-THE-LOST).

๐Ÿ’ก For helpful guidance and prevention tips, visit the Child Exploitation Resources guide from SchoolSafety.gov

Together, we can help protect every child and create a safer community for all. ๐Ÿ’™ #OnlineSafety #ProtectKids #SchoolSafety

MS/HS Pictures are in! Pictures were passed out today to students during their advisory classes. If your student wasn't at school today, have them check with their advisory teacher tomorrow!

Picture retakes are on Friday, October 24th and the photographers ask that students bring their original pictures back. If your student would like to get their pictures retaken or missed the original picture day, we have forms in the office!

Where does the wax go? Today's chemistry students went beyond simple observation to answer that question! They made quantitative measurements of a burning candle to track changes in mass and calculate the energy transferred to heat water. A fantastic hands-on lab exploring thermodynamics and chemical changes!
