All teams competed this week, and everyone is showing great effort and improvement. Girls Basketball Varsity Girls: The team improved to 5-2 with two conference wins. Game 1: Beat Vestaburg 44-7 Leaders: Isaac Bush (15 pts), Gavin Corbat (15 pts), Carter Suhr (8 pts) Game 2: Beat Montabella 65-38 Leaders: Isaac Bush (20 pts), Gavin Corbat (19 pts), Carter Suhr (19 pts) Wrestling Our young wrestling team traveled to Carson City for matches against Coleman and Montabella. Jackson Garcia (120 lbs) won his second match in his debut. Brayden Harvkey (150 lbs) and Manny Coyle (157 lbs) fought hard, gaining valuable experience. Bowling JV Bowling: The team faced tough competition, falling to Alma and St. Louis A, but celebrated personal bests: Auna Nira bowled a 131. Adrian Ortiz scored a 128. Varsity Girls: Won 26-4 vs. St. Charles, led by: Raegyn Mayer with 186. Kylo Riedel with 174. Miranda Bloomquist with 160. Varsity Boys: Beat St. Charles 27-3 and narrowly lost to Carson City-Crystal 14-17 by just one pin. Anthony Maxlow-Blair led with scores of 164 and 161. Jackson Sterling with 147 and 144. Competitive Cheer The team continues preparing for their next competition at Sanford Meridian on 1/16. Great work, Huskies—keep it up!

Breckenridge Athletics Weekly Update (12/29–1/5) It was a great week to be a Huskie! The Boys JV/Varsity and Girls Varsity Basketball teams traveled to Midland Calvary Baptist and brought home a Triple Dippin Dub, with all three teams securing impressive victories. The Cheer team also kicked off their season with a strong performance at their first competition at Midland High School. 🏀 Boys Basketball Varsity: The Varsity boys secured a hard-fought 47-34 victory over Midland Calvary Baptist. The Huskies jumped to an early lead, weathered a second-half comeback attempt, and finished strong. Outstanding effort, boys! Top Scorers: Noah Barr: 28 points Trey Most: 8 points Zander Mapes: 7 points Box Score: Breckenridge: 13 | 14 | 10 | 10 | 47 Calvary: 7 | 11 | 11 | 5 | 34 JV: The JV team also came away victorious with a 43-18 win. Great teamwork and contributions all around!
