Building a Brighter, More Inclusive Future: We Need You!
Breckenridge Community Schools are seeking two passionate and highly qualified Special Education Teachers to join our mission of serving every student.
We are looking to fill two critical roles:
One Elementary (K-5) Special Education Teacher: Help our youngest learners build essential skills and confidence.
One Secondary (6-12) Special Education Teacher: Guide students through their middle and high school careers, focusing on co-teaching and preparing students for their future.
If you believe in fostering a learning environment where all students achieve their maximum potential, please consider applying!

It was a hard-fought battle, but the Huskies came away with the 46-38 victory to start the season 1-0. Great to see the detailed write-up on the game and our players.

Thank you to the Bleacher Denizen for the play by play!
It’s more than just books - it’s a place where students explore, create, and connect. From puzzles and chess battles to quiet reading moments, our library is full of energy and curiosity every day.

✨ Kindergarten begins at 6:00 PM
✨ 1st Grade begins at 7:00 PM
Join us for an evening filled with creativity as our young artists showcase their beautiful work. We can’t wait to celebrate their talents with you!

Students are encouraged to wear red or green clothing.

Breckenridge Community Schools are on a 3-HOUR DELAY today, Dec 2, 2025, due to fog.

Parents, it’s that magical time of year again—
when the snow is fluffy,
the air is frosty,
and your child insists they don’t need a coat because they’re “not cold.” 😅
To help us keep everyone warm (and reduce the number of children attempting to sled in sneakers), please remember to send:
🧤 Hats & Gloves
🧥 Warm Coats
👖 Snow Pants
🥾 Snow Boots
🧣 Any other gear that prevents spontaneous popsicle formation
We promise we’ll send your kids back home with all the same gear… or at least the correct number of pieces. 😉 or can stay in their locker if you wish.
Thanks for helping us keep everyone cozy and ready for winter fun! ❄️☃️
🎄 12 Days of Christmas Spirit! 🎅

From cozy slippers and flannel to festive characters, candy cane colors, PJs, and more - join us in spreading some holiday cheer throughout the school!
We can’t wait to see your holiday spirit shine! ✨

There is NO SCHOOL on November 26 - 28 for the Thanksgiving holiday. Happy Thanksgiving, Huskies!
School resumes on Monday, December 1st.

To all our amazing parents and families:
As we head into this festive season, we want to take a moment to say thank you. We are truly grateful for your support, your kindness, and the way you partner with us every single day.
Thank you for the early mornings, the last-minute reminders, the encouragement you give your children, and the smiles you share with us along the way.
Thank you for cheering us on, trusting us, and helping make our school a place full of joy, growth, and community.
We appreciate you more than words can say, and we are so thankful to have you as part of our school family. 💛
Wishing you a season full of warmth, joy, and moments that make your heart feel full.
With gratitude,
From all of us here at BRECKENRIDGE ELEMENTARY
Get ready, everyone—this is the week when the hallways get a little sillier, the outfits get a lot brighter, and the teachers quietly question every life choice that led them to supervising glitter-covered children in December.
There will be fun.
There will be chaos.
There will definitely be someone who forgets what day it is and pretends they “meant to do that.”
Expect sparkles. Expect creativity. Expect at least one student to ask, “Is this today? Or is that tomorrow? Or was that yesterday?”
No matter what you wear, just bring the holiday cheer…
(and maybe a lint roller, a snack, and the patience of a thousand elves).
Let the festive fun begin! 🎅🎁✨
WE WILL SEE YOU WHEN WE RETURN MONDAY, DECEMBER 1ST
