Our Parent-Student Handbook (p. 35) emphasizes that attending school daily fosters a strong work ethic and ensures students don’t miss key lessons. Excused absences (e.g., illness, appointments) are allowed with proper documentation. Chronic absenteeism is defined as 10 or more unexcused absences (excluding medically excused, school-sponsored, or pre-arranged absences). Absenteeism will impact grades and opportunities. What a great week at BCS! Homecoming 2025 has been a shining example of community pride and Huskie spirit. From dress-up days and student activities to the parade, game, and celebrations, our students made memories and connections that will last a lifetime.

Even though we didn’t come away with a victory on the field, we certainly showed our pride, heart, and spirit as a community. 💙💛🐾

Thank you to our families, community members, and staff for supporting our students and helping make this week so special. Your involvement and encouragement mean so much, and it truly shows what makes Breckenridge such a special place.
