Our first grade classes studied about our community. We talked about the different places in our community and each picked a place to create. They all did a fabulous job and we appreciate their family helping them with this special project!

What a fantastic week at BCS! The core values of our district and community were on full display this week. We honored our heroes during the powerful and educational Veterans Day assemblies, and we strengthened our critical home-to-school bonds through Parent-Teacher Conferences.

We extend a sincere thank you to all families who attended conferences. Your dedication to your child’s education and your active participation in these essential conversations are truly what makes Breckenridge such a special place to learn and grow.

As we look ahead and continue our work toward continuous improvement, your voice matters! Please take a moment to provide your valuable feedback by completing the annual BCS School Improvement Surveys for parents by November 21st.

Six HS Band students spent the whole day at CMU’s Instrumental Workshop Friday—diving into music, growing their skills, and representing Breckenridge with pride! An incredible experience from start to finish. 🎵

MS/HS students are released at 11:30 am.

Today's chemistry lab focused on atomic emission. Students performed flame tests on various elements to observe their unique emission colors, connecting this phenomenon to real-world applications like fireworks. This experiment is part of an ongoing unit covering atomic structure and electron energy levels.

Today our school came together for a special Veterans Day assembly to honor and thank the brave men and women who have served our country. ❤️💙

We are so grateful to the veterans who joined us and to our students, staff, and families for helping make the day so meaningful. Your presence and stories remind us all of the importance of courage, service, and gratitude.
